By accessing or using Phone Tree ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including room parents, volunteer coordinators, and school staff.
Phone Tree is a communication platform designed to help school volunteer coordinators and room parents manage classroom communications. The Service allows users to draft, claim, and send messages to school families using their connected Gmail account.
You must sign in with a Google account to use Phone Tree. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify us immediately at support@phonetree.fyi if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for purposes inconsistent with the Service's intended use.
You agree to use Phone Tree only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with school community communication. You agree not to:
Phone Tree integrates with Google Gmail to send emails on your behalf. By connecting your Google account, you authorize Phone Tree to send emails through your Gmail account as directed by you within the platform. Phone Tree will only send emails that you explicitly initiate or approve.
You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions. Revoking access will prevent Phone Tree from sending emails on your behalf.
Your use of Phone Tree is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.
Phone Tree and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Phone Tree and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
Content you create using the Service — such as messages and communications — remains yours. You grant Phone Tree a limited license to process and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Phone Tree is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure. We are not responsible for the content of communications sent through the Service or for any consequences arising from their delivery or non-delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phone Tree shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
You may stop using Phone Tree at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
